I created a space for people to have a small, intimate ceremony. I grew up not wanting to be around large crowds. I also never desired to have a large wedding. I wouldn't say I'm an introvert because I feel comfortable mingling with other people. I just prefer my vows to be intimate with only a very few special people. Keep in mind, the ceremony could be displayed on zoom for other family members and friends to see.

A reception tip to help you save money.

Plan ahead to reserve a restaurant with a certain amount of guest. Be sure to include on the reception invitation, everyone is responsible for their own tab (Good idea hunh?).

Yes, you probably will have a few people that may say, wow, if they can't afford to marry, they shouldn't. Those people just may not understand the value of saving and putting money into a house or other investments. It's ok. It shouldn't take a lot of money for that one special day. It can be creative and still memorable. Do what works for you!
